MUSIC DROPBOX Grand Finale Results

Last Wednesday, March 1st, the finalists of Music Dropbox hit the stage at Eastern Promise, Kemang to battle it out for top spot and the amazing prizes...and what a night it was!
Playing in front of a full house of excited fans the club was rocking late into the night, the electrifying energy and incredible sounds of every act thrilling the crowd and making the task of picking the winners a tough choice for our judges Widi Puradiredja, Prita Prawirohardjo (Free! Magazine) and Jack McCord (SAE Jakarta).
The pressure was on with major prizes up for grabs, including a recording session at SAE Jakarta's brand new Neve Custom 75 Studio and mastering at Studios 301 Sydney, plus a gig headlining the Free! Magazine Anniversary Party and a range of audio production courses at SAE.
So finally, after much deliberation, consideration and excitement our panel of judges reached a difficult but ultimately unanimous decision.
And the winners are..
- Best Live Performance : PLAYMATES - Kuda Besi
- Best Dance Music Producer : RADIO HEAR - Tonight
- Best Hip Hop Beatmaker : THE SHAKES - A Champion Is Born
The other really big news is that after being so impressed with the winners in all categories SAE have just announced today that the winners of the Best Dance Music Producer and Best Hip-Hop Beatmaker will also now be awarded a recording and mixing session at SAE Institute Jakarta.
Free! Megazine and SAE Jakarta would also like to congratulate the runners-up from each category: Live Performance S.O.E.D. - Haruskah Kukatakan Lagi and SHELONIA - Jatuh Cinta, and also for Dance Music Producers MARDIAL - Every Morning Night and DEEFO & JUNO - Cosmic Freak Show (Original Mix)
