So JAPEX has been and gone for another year, bigger better (and louder!) than ever before.
SAE Jakarta was there right in the thick of things bringing practical creative media education to industry regulars, audiophiles and music lovers alike.
Our demos in Electronic Music, Film and Audio Production were a big hit on centre stage and must have impressed the new students who took advantage of the special JAPEX promo to sign up for our 2012 Degree, Diploma and Certificate courses.
As well as some outstanding entries to our Music DropBox competition we also had a long queue of budding producers waiting to get on our iMac workstations and enter the Remix Competition to win a spot on our next EMP course.
It was a tough call to make with so many amazing entries covering every style from electro to indie, dub step to house. In the end it was so close our EMP guys Ade Habibie and Jack McCord couldn’t split third place but finally couldn’t go past our winner, the very talented Gizky Harry who scored himself a free place in our next EMP Course starting March 2012.
Congratulations also to our runners up who have won themselves some cool prizes including scholarships for study at SAE to further their production careers with our industry professionals.
1st Prize : 100% EMP Scholarship – Gizky Harry
2nd Prize : 50% EMP Scholarship – Rizky Ramadhan
3rd Prize : 25% EMP Scholarship – Tadjudin & Fadil (equal third place)
And it wasn’t just the remix station where the competition was hot. The SAE putt-putt course was a big hit in more ways than one and the most fun way to win yourself big discounts on our upcoming Short Courses in Audio and Film Production.
Congratulations to our winners who can take their pick on scholarships for over 7 new SAE Short Courses including Mixing Essentials, Modern Music Theory and Film Bootcamp.
1st Prize : 50% Short Course Scholarship – Shaqilla
2nd Prize : 25% Short Course Scholarship – Richard Emanuel
3rd Prize : 15% Short Course Scholarship – Komeng
